🐎 Summer Horseback Riding Camp

Our horseback riding summer camp offers a fun, safe, and educational experience for children of all ages and skill levels. Campers will spend their days immersed in the horse world, building skills, confidence, and lifelong memories.

Camp Activities:

  • Guided trail riding

  • Arena riding with skill-appropriate instruction

  • Horse care & grooming lessons

  • Braiding and safe, washable horse painting

  • Horse-themed crafts

  • Group games and team-building activities

What Campers Will Learn:

Through hands-on experiences and quality instruction, campers will develop:

  • Confidence and independence

  • Responsibility and good horsemanship

  • Compassion and respect for animals

  • Riding skills and barn safety awareness

Our summer programs focus on fun, adventure, safety, and great instruction. Campers will have the opportunity to connect with horses, make new friends, and enjoy the outdoors in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether it’s their first time around horses or they’re already passionate riders, every camper will leave with new skills and unforgettable memories.

What To Bring:

To help your camper have a safe and enjoyable day at the barn, please bring:

  • Long pants (jeans or riding pants recommended)

  • Closed-toe shoes with a small heel (boots preferred)

  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, light jacket, rain gear if needed)

  • Sunscreen & bug spray (applied before camp if possible)

  • Refillable water bottle

  • Packed lunch and snacks

  • Helmet (if owned — limited helmets available to borrow)

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Please note: Campers should wear clothes that can get dirty.

Arrival & check-in

 

9:00 – 9:30 AM
Barn orientation, safety talk & daily plan

 

9:30 – 11:00 AM
Horse care, grooming, tacking & riding session
(Arena riding or trail riding depending on the day)

 

11:00 – 12:00 PM
Crafts, games, or horse activities
(Braiding, painting, learning parts of the horse, etc.)

 

12:00 – 12:30 PM
Lunch break & rest time

 

12:30 – 1:30 PM
Second riding session or horsemanship lesson

 

1:30 – 2:30 PM
Group games, confidence-building activities & barn chores

 

2:30 – 3:00 PM
Wrap-up, horse care, reflection & pickup
